About CheckedStack

CheckedStack compares software on price, features and fit, and shows its working: every price links to the vendor page it came from and carries the date it was checked.

Why it exists

Most software comparisons quote a price once and never revisit it. Plans get restructured, prices rise, free tiers shrink — and the comparison carries on quoting last year's numbers with total confidence. When this site first checked its seven launch tools against their own pricing pages, every one of them differed in some way — a price, a plan name or a limit — from the figures that had been gathered from secondary sources.

So the rule here is simple: no price without a source and a date, and anything not re-checked within 120 days is flagged on the page as stale.

How it is funded

Some links are affiliate links — if you subscribe after clicking one, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commission is never an input to the rankings, and the reasoning is set out on the methodology page. Full detail is on the affiliate disclosure.

Getting something corrected

If a price, plan or feature here is wrong, email hello@checkedstack.com with a link to the vendor page that shows the current figure. Vendors are welcome to do the same. Corrections are logged publicly on the price changes page.
